Visit to Tallinn
in Estonia
|
|
Tallinn is the
capital of Estonia with a charming medieval old town. It is
possible to make a one-day trip to Tallinn by catamaran or ferry
as Tallinn is located only about 60 km south of Helsinki over
the Baltic Sea. The trip takes between 1.5 to 3.5 hours
depending on the method of transportation. You can even take a
helicopter ride to Tallinn. The flight by helicopter from
Helsinki to Tallinn takes only 18 minutes!
A passport is
required to visit Tallinn. Visa is in some cases required,
however, we recommend to check this matter when ordering the
tickets. Tickets to ferries and catamarans can be ordered e.g.
through Tour Expert (see contact information below) and the cost
of an individual ticket is around 10–100 EUR depending on the
transportation and services used.
